The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Eastern Region, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Services) under NE-4 Level. Includes 13 horizontally reserved posts for ex-servicemen, with one post for dependents of ex-Servicemen killed in action. An additional 10% reservation is applicable for Ex-Agniveers.
Pay Scale:
- NE-4 Level: ₹31,000 – ₹92,000 per month (Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Perks).
- Other benefits include CPF, Gratuity, Medical Benefits, and Social Security Schemes as per AAI Rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Option 1: 10th Pass + 3 years regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire.
- Option 2: 12th Pass (Regular Study).
2. Driving License:
- Must possess one of the following:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least 1 year before 01 November 2024.
- Valid Light Motor Vehicle License issued at least 2 years before 01 November 2024.
Note: Candidates with Medium or Light Motor Vehicle Licenses must obtain a Heavy Vehicle Driving License within 1 year of appointment.
3. Age Limit (as of 01 November 2024):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Length of military service + 3 years
4. Physical Standards:

Vision:
- Distance Vision: 6/6 without glasses.
- Near Vision: N-5 without glasses.
- No Color Blindness or Night Blindness.
Candidates must meet the physical fitness standards as per the detailed notification.
Selection Process:
1. Written Examination:
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Syllabus:
- Part A: Subject-specific questions (50%).
- Part B: General Knowledge, Intelligence, Aptitude, and English (50%).
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR/OBC/EWS: 50/100
- SC/ST: 40/100
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Candidates must meet the specified height, weight, and chest measurements.
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET):
- Includes running, sandbag carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing, and ladder climbing.
4. Driving Test:
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in driving (LMV/MV/HMV as applicable).
5. Medical Examination:
- Final selection is contingent upon passing the medical examination.
Training and Probation:
- Selected candidates will undergo an 18-week Basic Training Course (BTC) at an AAI training facility.
- During training, a stipend of ₹25,000 per month will be provided.
