The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a ‘Miniratna Category-1’ Public Sector Enterprise responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure across the country.

Overview:

Vacancies:

1. Graduate Apprentices

• Fields of Specialization:
  • Civil Engineering (07 posts)
  • Electrical Engineering (06 posts)
  • Electronics Engineering (06 posts)
  • Computer Science/Information Technology (02 posts)
  • Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance (02 posts)
  • Mechanical/Automobile Engineering (03 posts)
• Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000 (₹10,500 from AAI + ₹4,500 from Govt. of India through DBT)

2. Diploma Apprentices

• Fields of Specialization:
  • Civil Engineering (26 posts)
  • Electrical Engineering (25 posts)
  • Electronics Engineering (23 posts)
  • Computer Science/Information Technology (06 posts)
  • Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance (04 posts)
  • Mechanical/Automobile Engineering (06 posts)
• Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000 (₹8,000 from AAI + ₹4,000 from Govt. of India through DBT)

3. Trade Apprentices (ITI)

• Fields of Specialization:
  • Computer Operator Programming Assistant (73 posts)
  • Stenography (08 posts)
• Monthly Stipend: ₹9,000

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Graduate/Diploma Apprentices: Full-time degree or diploma in the respective engineering discipline from an AICTE-recognized institution.
   • ITI Trade Apprentices: ITI/NCVT certificate in the respective trade from an institution recognized by AICTE.
2. Domicile: Must be from the Northern Region states (Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Leh Ladakh, MP, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Uttarakhand).
3. Graduation Year: Degree/Diploma obtained in 2020 or later.
4. Age Limit:
   • Minimum: 18 years
   • Maximum: 26 years (as of October 31, 2024).
   • Relaxations as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates.
5. Additional Conditions:
   • Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or job experience of one year or more are ineligible.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting based on academic performance (% of marks in the qualifying examination).
2. Final selection through interview/document verification.
3. Submission of a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.

3. Applications will only be accepted through the respective portals.
