Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world, engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning, coordination, supervision, and control over the complete Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). POWERGRID operates around 1,74,601 circuit kilometers of transmission lines along with 273 substations and wheels about 50% of the total power generated in the country through its transmission network. Additionally, POWERGRID owns and operates approximately 82,294 kilometers of Telecom Network.
POWERGRID is looking for bright, committed, and energetic graduates to join as Junior Officer Trainee (HR) for various regions and the Corporate Centre. The selected candidates will undergo training for a specified period, during which they will receive a stipend. Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Junior Officer (HR) in the Supervisory category.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and training & development.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintained employee records and handled HR-related queries.
- Coordinate with various departments for HR-related activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university/institute.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 27 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
- Experience: Freshers can apply. Experience in HR functions will be an added advantage.
Selection Process:
- Written Test: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test.
- Computer Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a computer skill test.
- Interview: Final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
