POWERGRID, a Maharatna Enterprise of the Government of India, is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world. Engaged in power transmission, POWERGRID operates around 177,699 circuit kms of transmission lines and 278 substations, wheeling about 50% of the total power generated in the country. Additionally, POWERGRID owns and operates approximately 100,000 kms of telecom network across India.

POWERGRID is looking for experienced Company Secretary professionals for engagement on a fixed-term contract basis. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for a period of 2 years, extendable for one year each up to a maximum of 5 years based on requirements and performance.

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Experience:

• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in the company secretariat of any unlisted/listed company (internship/training not counted).

Areas of Experience:

• Drafting of agenda, minutes, official letters, etc.
• Conducting Board/Committee meetings and General Body Meetings.
• Compliance with statutory requirements under the Companies Act and other statutory compliances.

Upper Age Limit:

• 29 years as of the last date of application.

Relaxations:

• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD: As per Government of India directives
