The Directorate of Education, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of primary & upper primary school teachers on a short-term contract (STC) basis under Samagra Shiksha.

Dadra and NH & Daman Diu Teachers Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 180 vacant posts under the Dadra and NH & Daman Diu Recruitment 2025 for the following categories:

Dadra and NH & Daman Diu Teachers Eligibility Criteria:

For Primary School Teachers (PS):

• Educational Qualification (any one of the following):

  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (Must complete a 6-month NCTE-approved Elementary Education course within 2 years of appointment.)

For Upper Primary School Teachers (UPS):

• Educational Qualification (any one of the following):

  • Graduation (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
  • Graduation (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with at least 50% marks + 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./B.Com.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks + B.Ed. in Special Education

Additional Requirements:

• • Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central or State Government
  • Must have studied in the concerned medium (English/Hindi) at Secondary level (Not applicable for language teachers)
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxation as per government norms)
