 The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore is recruiting for 01 Post of Field Assistant (FA) for the Narmada River Basin Management Studies project, funded by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India. For this post, the candidate should possess a B.Tech./B.Sc. degree in relevant fields like Biology, Environmental Science, or Engineering along with strong communication skills in Hindi and English. The selected candidate will have to work on field survey, data analysis and report preparation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• A B.Tech. or B.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Environmental Science, or Engineering (or related fields).
• Candidates must have excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing Hindi and English.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Candidates with prior field survey experience, skills in data analysis (especially using spreadsheets), and report writing will have an advantage.

Fellowship and Duration: The selected candidate will receive the following:

• Fellowship: INR 20,000 per month + HRA (as per DST norms)
• Duration: The initial appointment will be for 1 year, with the possibility of an extension based on performance.

Selection Process:

Candidates shortlisted in the selection process for IIT Indore Recruitment 2025 will be invited for an interview, which will be held online through Google Meet on 24th February 2025 at 2 pm. The selection committee will evaluate the candidates on the basis of their qualifications, experience and performance during the interview.
