The Income Tax Department, Kerala, is seeking eligible and experienced officers to fill the post of Stenographer Grade-I on a deputation basis. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing stenographic duties, managing official correspondence & other work.

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 100 vacant posts under the following categories:

  • UR: 77, SC: 16, ST: 7
  • Pay Scale: Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) + Usual Allowances

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational & Experience Requirements:

Candidates must be current officers serving in Central Government Departments who meet either of the following criteria:

  • Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, OR
  • Having at least 10 years of regular service in Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) or equivalent.

2. Age Limit:

  • The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of application (March 31, 2025).

Selection Process:

The selection will be done on the basis of:

  • Scrutiny of applications to verify eligibility criteria.
  • Assessment of service records, experience, and APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports).
  • Personal Interview (if required).
  • Final Selection based on Merit & Experience.

How to Apply:

  1. Eligible candidates must apply through proper channel by forwarding their applications via their respective Cadre Controlling Authorities.
  2. Download & Fill the Application Form (Prescribed Proforma).
  3. Attach the following documents:
    • Complete Bio-Data including contact details and email ID.
    • APAR/ACR reports for the last 5 years (certified photocopies).
    • Cadre Clearance Certificate from the current employer.
    • Vigilance Clearance Certificate stating no pending cases.
    • Integrity Certificate issued by the competent authority.
    • Statement of major/minor penalties (if any) imposed in the last 10 years.
  4. Submit the complete application to the following address before March 31, 2025:

Note:

  • Incomplete applications or those not received through proper channels will be rejected.
