The Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar is recruiting for the Posts of Technician on direct recruitment. Applicants should have matriculation, three years of experience in a research and development laboratory or a Diploma in Medical Lab Technician, and three years of experience in the relevant field.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:

• Matriculation (Class 10) with 3 years of experience in R&D Laboratories OR
• A Diploma in Medical Lab Technician with relevant experience OR
• Matriculation with an ITI certificate in the respective trade and 3 years of experience, including apprenticeship.

Desirable Qualification:

• A Diploma in Engineering or a higher qualification.
• Working knowledge of Civil/Electrical systems will be preferred.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be below 30 years of age. However, there is relaxation in the age limit as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting of Candidates:
   • Only candidates fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will be shortlisted.
   • Merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection or an interview call.
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
   • The decision of the institute regarding shortlisting and selection will be final.
   • No interim inquiries or communication will be entertained.
3. Submission of Documents:
   • Candidates working in Central Government/Central Government Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.
   • Alternatively, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer must be submitted at the time of the interview if shortlisted.
4. Final Decision:
   • Selection will be based on the performance in the interview and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.

Application Fee:

• Rs. 200 for General candidates.
• Rs. 100 for OBC candidates.
• Exempted for SC/ST and Women candidates.
