RWD Bihar Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2025

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

• Pay Scale: Rs. 80,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Essential:
   • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution approved by AICTE.
2. Desirable:
   • Proficiency in project planning and execution for rural infrastructure works.

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 21 years

Citizenship:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens and domicile of Bihar.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting Based on GATE 2025 Score:
   • Candidates will be shortlisted for the recruitment process solely based on their performance in GATE 2025 (Civil Engineering paper).
   • Only candidates with valid GATE scores in the specified year will be considered.
2. Document Verification:
   • Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification to confirm their eligibility.
   • Original certificates, including educational qualifications, GATE scorecard, and proof of age, must be presented.
3. Final Merit List:
   • A merit list will be prepared based on the normalized GATE 2025 scores.
   • In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with:
     • Higher marks in the qualifying degree (B.E./B.Tech).
     • Older age (if required for further resolution).
