Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications from eligible Ex-Servicemen for the post of Havildar (Security) for its Pune Unit. Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 2 vacant posts.

Reservation:

• 100% reservation for Ex-Servicemen.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Pay Scale: ₹20,500 – ₹79,000 (WG-III/CP-III).
• Allowances:
  • Dearness Allowance (DA).
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA).
  • Perquisites: 30% of the annual basic pay.
• Other Benefits:
  • Group Insurance.
  • Provident Fund (PF).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum qualification: SSLC (Pass) from a recognized board/institution.

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of service in the Armed Forces.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Fire Fighting Training and possession of a valid driving license are desirable.
• Knowledge of computer operations is an added advantage.

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):

• Maximum Age: 43 years (General).
• OBC (NCL): Relaxation of 3 years.

Language Proficiency:

• Mandatory: Proficiency in Marathi (read, write, and speak).
• Desirable: Proficiency in English and Hindi.

Other Requirements:

• Exemplary character and medical category SHAPE-1.
• Must be registered with the District Sainik Welfare Board (DSWB) in Maharashtra.

Selection Process:

1. Physical Endurance Test:
   • 800 meters run within 3 minutes 30 seconds.
   • Minimum 20 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, and 5 chin-ups.
   • The test is qualifying in nature.
2. Written Test:
   • Total Marks: 150
   • Sections:
     • Part I: General Aptitude and Awareness (50 Marks)
       • Topics include mental ability, logical reasoning, analytical comprehension, basic numeracy, and general knowledge.
     • Part II: Technical/Trade Aptitude (100 Marks)
       • Includes professional and technical knowledge questions.
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • General/OBC: 35%
3. Final Selection:
   • Based on merit in the written test (category-wise).
