Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. (Agriculture) under a four-year program and M.Sc. (Agriculture) in 2nd class from a recognized university or institution by the State/Central Government or ICAR.
- Desirable Qualification:
- M.Sc. (Agriculture) with First Class or above.
- Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the state.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years (as of 1st January 2024).
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disabilities: 5 years.
- Other categories as per Himachal Pradesh Government norms.

- Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (Paper-II):

- Subject-Specific Questions (Agriculture Development).
- Personality Test:
- Marks: 30
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (General), 30% (Reserved Categories).
- Final Merit List:
- Based on total marks from Paper-II and Personality Test.
