IAF Airmen Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Recruitment 2025

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is holding a recruitment rally for male candidates, including Indian and Gorkha subjects, to join the Medical Assistant Trade in Group ‘Y’ from 29 January to 06 February 2025.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualifications

• For 10+2 Candidates:
  • Passed 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• For Pharmacy Candidates:
  • Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy with 50% aggregate marks.
  • Valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India is mandatory at enrollment.

Age Limit:

• For 10+2 Candidates: Born between 03 July 2004 and 03 July 2008 (both dates inclusive).
• For Pharmacy Candidates:
  • Unmarried: Born between 03 July 2001 and 03 July 2006.
  • Married: Born between 03 July 2001 and 03 July 2004.

Selection Process:

The selection will be conducted as follows:

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
   • 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
   • 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
2. Written Test: Objective-type questions based on the qualifying examination syllabus.
3. Medical Examination: To ensure candidates meet medical standards.
4. Document Verification: Candidates must bring original documents for verification.
