The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL), a leading public sector General Insurance Company, invites applications for the recruitment of 500 Assistant posts across India. Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 500 posts.

• Category-Wise Breakup: SC: 91, ST: 51, OBC: 48, EWS: 50, UR: 260
• Reservation: Includes specific quotas for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen.

Note: State/UT-wise vacancies available. Candidates can only apply for vacancies in one State/UT and must appear for the exam in that location.

Pay Scale:

• Pay Scale: ₹22,405–₹62,265 (approx.)
• Total Emoluments: ₹40,000/month in Metro cities.
• Other Benefits: Medical reimbursement, Leave, Travel, Subsidy, and other welfare schemes as per company policies.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality:
   • Citizen of India or subject of Nepal/Bhutan or as per Government guidelines for certain categories like Tibetan refugees and persons of Indian origin.
2. Age Limit (as of 01 December 2024):
   • Minimum Age: 21 years
   • Maximum Age: 30 years
   • Age Relaxation:
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
     • PwBD: 10 years
     • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms
3. Educational Qualification (as of 01 December 2024):
   • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
   • Passed English as a subject at SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation level.
   • Proficiency in the regional language of the applied State/UT is mandatory (reading, writing, speaking).

Selection Process:

1. Preliminary Examination (Tier I):
   • Online test with 100 marks.
   • Subjects: English Language, Reasoning, Numerical Ability.
   • Duration: 60 minutes.
2. Main Examination (Tier II):
   • Online test with 250 marks.
   • Subjects: English Language, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness.
   • Duration: 120 minutes.
3. Regional Language Test:
   • Mandatory for final selection.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹850 (inclusive of GST).
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: ₹100 (intimation charges only).
