Remuneration:
- Monthly Consolidated Pay: ₹23,300
- Additional Compensation for Extra Hours: Up to ₹5,830 per month.
- Higher Pay: Based on the relevance of experience as reviewed by a technical committee.
Job Location:
The selected candidates for Workmen Posts in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) will be posted at the following locations based on the project requirements:
- Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Headquarters: Kochi, Kerala
- Other Project Sites:
- CSL units and subsidiaries across India.
- International project sites based on organizational needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Fabrication Assistants (Sheet Metal Worker, Welder):
- Pass in SSLC and ITI–NTC in the respective trade.
- Outfit Assistants (Mechanic Diesel, Electrician, etc.):
- Pass in SSLC and ITI–NTC in the respective trade.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience or training in the relevant trade.
Age Limit:
- Upper Age Limit: 45 years (as of 30 December 2024).
- Relaxations:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD/Ex-servicemen: As per Government norms, up to a maximum of 50 years.
Selection Process:
Phase I:
- Objective-Type Online Test (30 Marks):
- General (Part A): 10 Marks
- Trade-Related (Part B): 20 Marks
- Duration: 35 minutes
- Minimum Passing Marks:
- UR/EWS: 50%
- OBC: 45% (for reserved posts)
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40%
Phase II:
- Practical Test (70 Marks):
- Candidates shortlisted after Phase I will undergo a practical skill test.

- Online exams will be held at centers in Kerala.
