IIT Mandi is hiring for 22 Junior Assistant vacancies across various categories (SC: 3, ST: 1, OBC: 6, EWS: 2, UR: 10, including 1 UR-PwD). Applications are open to qualified candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees and relevant experience.

Salary:

The salary for the Junior Assistant position at IIT Mandi is as per Pay Level-03 under the 7th CPC, with a starting basic pay of ₹21,700, along with allowances as per institute norms.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 55% marks) with knowledge of computer applications and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
    OR
  • Master’s Degree (minimum 55% marks) with knowledge of computer applications.
• Desirable Experience:
  Proficiency in handling tasks related to Establishment, Legal, Purchase, Accounts, Audit, or Hospitality.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. Tenure & Location:
   All positions are based in Kamand, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Initial appointment will be on probation as per IIT norms, leading to regularization upon successful completion.
2. Required Documents:

   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • PwD certificate (if applicable)
   • Date of birth proof
3. Age Relaxations:
   • SC/ST: 5 years
   • OBC (NCL): 3 years
   • IIT Mandi staff: Up to 50 years (for qualified candidates with 3 years of service).
4. Selection Process:
   • The Institute reserves the right to conduct written or trade tests and shortlist candidates based on merit and relevance of experience.
5. Disqualifications:
