Coal India Limited (CIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, is the world’s largest coal-producing company. Headquartered in Kolkata, CIL accounts for approximately 79% of India’s total coal production. To support its transformation into a multifaceted business organization, CIL invites applications for the position of Management Trainee in E-2 Grade.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering)/MCA in relevant disciplines from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 60% marks for General, OBC, and EWS categories; 55% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
• Candidates in the final year must submit their final results before selection.

2. GATE-2024 Qualification:

• Candidates must have qualified in GATE-2024 with relevant paper codes. The GATE score will be the basis for shortlisting.

3. Age Limit:

• Maximum age of 30 years as of September 30, 2024.
• Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE-2024 scores, followed by document verification and an initial medical examination.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Scale: ₹50,000 – ₹160,000 during the training period, with subsequent elevation upon completion of training.

Service Agreement Bond:

Selected candidates are required to serve CIL for at least 60 months, with a service bond of ₹3 lakhs.
