POWERGRID is a leading transmission utility in India, responsible for 50% of the power transmitted across the country, with a vast network of transmission lines and substations. PESL, established in August 2022, focuses on strategic projects like Solar PV Plants, Automated Metering Infrastructure, and consultancy services for central government schemes.

Vacancies:

Job Responsibilities:

• Role: Supervise electrical operations and maintenance tasks at various sites.
• Training: One-year training period.
• Post Training: Placement as Sub Junior Engineer (S0 level) with a pay scale starting from ₹24,000/- to ₹1,08,000/- (IDA).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Full-Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplines with at least 70% marks (for General/OBC/EWS) and pass marks (for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Age Limit: Up to 27 years (as of 6th November 2024), with relaxation for reserved categories.
• Higher Qualification Restriction: Candidates with B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent higher qualifications are not eligible.

Salary and Benefits:

• Training Period: Basic Pay of ₹24,000/- with IDA, HRA, and perks at 12% of Basic Pay.
• Post Regularization: Comprehensive benefits package including Performance Related Pay, medical benefits, terminal benefits, loan facilities, and more.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test/Computer-Based Test (CBT): 170 objective-type questions (120 technical + 50 aptitude).
2. Document Verification and Medical Examination.
3. Merit List Preparation: Based on CBT performance.
